NOTES:

The frequencies for the Campaign-Period Survey of the Canadian Election Survey have been weighted to correct for unequal probability of selection at the household stage and to ensure that the sample proportions among the provinces matches the population. There has been no post-stratification according to age, sex, or any other variable.

The exact wording of the question can be obtained from reviewing the questionnaire, which is also available from ISR's web site. Over the next  few weeks a French version of the frequencies, data from the Post-Election and Mailback Surveys, as well as technical documentation, explaining the sample and data collection procedures, will be placed on this web page.

Questions about the scope of the survey should be addressed to the principal investigators: André Blais, Elisabeth Gidengil, Richard Nadeau and Neil Nevitte. Questions about the conduct of the survey should be addressed to David Northrup.
